Grand Cayman

So you want to go to Grand Cayman  – I don’t blame you, it’s like heaven on earth!

The beaches are rated amongst the top in the world, and Seven Mile Beach is certainly the most famous. But as beautiful as it is, the best part is that it’s not particularly crowded and that is one of the most appealing things about Cayman as a whole.

Grand Cayman is shaped like a whale – when you fly in you will see the capital Georgetown and Seven Mile Beach which are on the West side of the island.

But as gorgeous as Seven Mile Beach and the surrounding area is, what drew us to Cayman and brings us back every year is East End! East End is as far away as you can get from the airport, the cruise ships and Georgetown, but it is truly one of the most beautiful places on earth I believe.

This is my view when I stay in East End – I don’t think it gets much better than this…..

So I’ve been busy talking about Grand Cayman, but the Cayman Islands are actually comprised of 3 islands, the largest being Grand Cayman, and 2 smaller islands, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. Personally I haven’t been to the 2 small islands, but I will be featuring information on them in one of my next posts or those that might be interested.

I will be back with more info and in the mean time please check out this link for tons of info on these beautiful islands!
